swimming, softball and going to
Camp Walden. Her mitzvah project
included stocking shelves at Yad
Ezra and volunteering her time at
the Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield.

Ryan Jacobs will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Friday, May
25, at Temple Shir
Shalom. He is the
son of Ron and Sue
Jacobs of West
Bloomfield and
brother of Jason.
Excited grandpar-
ents are Fay and
Jerry Jacobs of Farmington Hills
and Betty Sherman of Delray
Beach, Fla. He is also the grandson
of the late Frank Sherman.
Ryan is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. His interests
include computers, sports and
being with his friends. For his
mitzvah project, he volunteered at
the Jewish Association for
Residential Care, worked at the
temple Purim carnival and volun-
teered at Region Street nursing
home in West Bloomfield for
Shabbat services.

Stephanie Kane will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, May 26, at Congregation
B'nai Moshe. She is
the daughter of
Paul Kane and
Robin and Michael
Mostyn and the sis-
ter of Carson,
Amanda, Jordan
and Sydney. Proud
grandparents are
Richard and
Marilyn Kurzrok of
Hollis Hills, N.Y., and Earle and
Elaine Mostyn of West Bloomfield.
Stephanie is an honor student at
Walled Lake Middle School, where
she is a peer mediator. In her spare
time, she enjoys being with friends,
talking on the computer and spend-
ing summers at Camp Seagull. Her
most meaningful mitzvah project
was volunteering at Yad Ezra.

Lindsay Michele Kwaselow will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, May
25, at
Congregation Beth
Ahm. She is the
daughter of Alvin
and Ruth Kwaselow
and the sister of
David. Her loving
grandparents are
Gerald and
Beatrice Mandell and Joseph and
Ruth Kwaselow.
Lindsay attends the seventh
grade at Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills as well as Beth
Ahm religious school in West
Bloomfield. She looks forward to
celebrating her bat mitzvah with
family and friends.
