Ilana Michele Shapiro will celebrate
her bat mitzvah on Saturday, May
26, at Temple Shir
Shalom. She is the
daughter of
Deborah and Gary
Shapiro, sister of
Jacob and Victoria,
and the grand-
daughter of Esther
and Harry Shapiro,
Richard Gittelman
and the late Shirley Gittelman. She
is the great-granddaughter of Louise
Gittelman.
Ilana attends Bloomfield Hills
Middle School, where she is an
honor student. She enjoys soccer,
forensics and being with her friends.

Victoria Brook Shapiro will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah on Saturday,
May 26, at Temple Shir Shalom. She
is the daughter of
Deborah and Gary
Shapiro, sister of
Jacob and Ilana,
and the grand-
daughter of Esther
and Harry Shapiro,
Richard Gittelman
and the late Shirley
Gittelman. She is
the great-granddaughter. if Louise
Gittelman.
Attending Bloomfield Hills
Middle School, Torre enjoys soccer,
basketball, theater arts as well as
participating on the forensics team.

Samantha Faye Supowit will
become a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
May 26, at Adat Shalom Synagogue.
She is the daughter of Debbie and
Jeff Supowit and the sister of Shana
and Jordan. Proud
grandparents are
Marcia and Gerald
Sinkoff of West
Bloomfield. She is
also the grand-
daughter of the late
Esther and Aaron
Supowit.
Samantha is an
honor student at O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills.
She enjoys playing the oboe, travel-
ing and caring for animals. Her
mitzvah projects included making
dolls for hospitalized children
through Hadassah, helping the
homeless at Adat Shalom and volun-
teering at the Animal Rescue
League.
