where she is an
honor student. She
studies violin and composes music
on the piano. She volunteers at a
nursing home in Royal Oak, where
she reads to a woman who is vision-
impaired.

the beloved daughter of Leslie and
Jefrey Fishman and
big sister of Jamie
and Jeremy. Elated
grandparents are
Gloria Weissler,
Arnold Weissler
and HannaReta
and Gordon
Fishman. Very
proud great-grand-
mother is Sonia
Blumenstein.
Allison is an honor student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. She
enjoys ballet and jazz dancing, water
and snow skiing, horseback riding,
reading and writing. In addition to
many Hillel mitzvah projects,
Allison volunteered her Sunday
mornings assisting in Mrs.
Schlussel's first-grade Hebrew class.
She intends to donate to the organi-
zation Feed the Children.

Bonnie Jenifer Girson will become

a bat mitzvah on Saturday, May 26,
at Temple Beth El. Participating in
the ceremony will be her parents,
Marsha and David
Girson, her brother
Steven and her sis-
ter Lauren. Proud
grandfather is Dr.
Michael Linver of
Toledo, Ohio. She
is also the grand-
child of the late
Bella Linver and
the late Pauline and Leonard
Girson.
Bonnie is an honor student at
Birmingham Covington School in
Bloomfield Hills. She plays the clar-
inet in the band and is also involved
in the school paper and with girls
soccer. She enjoys swimming, art
and being with friends and family.
Her mitzvah projects include assist-
ing at Temple Beth El nursery
school summer camp, volunteering
with Hadassah to make dolls for
children in local hospitals and creat-
ing an oral history project.

Clifford Ross Haimann will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
at Temple Israel on Saturday, May
26. He is the son
of Amy and Dr.
Mark Haimann
and brother of
Alexander and
Adria. Excited
grandparents are
Beatrice and
Milton Hoffman.
He is also the
grandson of the late Ruth and Theo
Haimann.
Clifford is an honor student at
Vaughn Middle School-Cranbrook
in Bloomfield Hills. He is interested
in sports and Elvis Presley. He
found it especially significant to
plant trees in Israel through the
Jewish National Fund as part of his
mitzvah projects.
