of their first son, Jared Sheldon.

Ellina (Frenkel) and Joel Hersh of
Huntington Woods welcome with all

daughter, Shayna Leah (Chana Leah).

Jennifer (Lantor) and Todd Kroll of
Birmingham welcome with love and

Sylvia (Sherman) and Randy Wolf of

Stephanie (Sparkman) and Nick
Chupack of Waterford joyfully '
announce the birth of their daugh-
ter, Hannah Elizabeth (Ada
Davida). Sharing in the happiness
are grandparents Susan and Charles
Chupack of Farmington Hills and
Lou Ann Sparkman of Walled Lake.
Hannah is also the granddaughter of
the late Gary Sparkman. Proud
great-grandparents are Ruth and
Julius Chupack, Hazel Klueh and
Arthur Sparkman. Hannah is named
in loving memory of her cousin Dr.
Bruce Sandler and her paternal
great-grandfather David Penner.

Andrea Michelle Millman, daughter of Susan
and Gregg Millman of Wilmington,
Delaware, and granddaughter of Ida and
Morris Weider of Farmington Hills, Michigan
is the Valedictorian of the Concord High
School class of 2001. Andrea has been hon-
ored as a National Merit Scholar and was
chosen to attend the Governor's School for
Excellence. She received the Brown
University Award for Top English student,
the Rennselear Polytechnic Institute Math
and Science Award, and the National Council of Teachers of English
Achievement Award in Writing. Andrea is a member of the National
Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and is an
Advanced Placement Scholar. Andrea has been chosen as one of
the top ten graduates in the tri-state region by the Wilmington News
Journal. In addition to her scholastic achievements, she is a mem-
ber of Drama Board, and is Color Guard captain. Andrea is a mem-
ber of Congregation Beth Shalom and attended Gratz Hebrew High
School. Andrea will attend the University of Pennsylvania this fall.

April 3
Jennifer (Righettini) and Bradley
Stoller of Royal Oak welcome with
love the birth of their daughter,
Hannah Lindsey. Proud grandpar-
ents are Judi and Ken Stoller of
Farmington Hills, Patricia Righettini
of Rochester Hills. She is also the
granddaughter of the late Gary
Righettini. Also sharing in the joy
are great-grandparents Phyllis
Stoller, Teresa and Alexander
Wallent and Eileen Righettini.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Michael Benjamin Ackerson will
celebrate his bar mitzvah on
Saturday, May 26, at Congregation
Beth Israel in Flint. He is the son of
Sheri and Brian
Ackerson and the
brother of Lisa.
Michael is also the
grandson of Elinor
and Morton
Trotsky of West
Bloomfield and the
late Josephine and
Leonard Ackerson.
Michael is an honor student at
Carman Ainsworth Junior High,
where he enjoys wrestling, basketball
and playing in the school band. He
is also a member of Kadima and a
camper at Tamarack Camps.

Aaron Louis Baum of Franklin will
become a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
May 26, at Congregation Beth
Shalom. Participating in the services
will be his parents, Denise and
Elliott, as well as his sister Natalie,
brothers Steven and David, and his
aunt Elissa Berg, along with cousins
Francesca, Joshua and Zach. Aaron
