Detroiter of Lauderhill, Fla., died
May 12.
He is survived by his beloved wife
Beatrice; children, Pauline and
David Goodman, Faith Goodman;
five grandchildren; four great-grand-
children; brother and sister-in-law,
Herman and Rosemary Goodman;
sisters, Stella Weiner, Gertrude
Levine. He was the beloved husband
of the late Miriam Goodman.

GAIL HARRIS, formerly of
Southfield of Jacksonville, Fla., died
May 5.
She is survived by her husband,

Ben Harris.

MALVERN J: KAUFMAN, 65, of
Bloomfield Hills, died May 5. He
was a violinist with the Detroit
Symphony Orchestra. He received
his master's degree in music history
from Eastman School of Music.
Mr. Kaufman is survived by his
wife of 43 years, Lenora Kaufman;
son, Joel Kaufman of Pontiac,
, daughter, Nancy Kaufman of
Bloomfield Hills; sister and brother-
in-law, Charlotte and Hubert
Schlosberg of Maryland.
Interment at King David
Cemetery in Virginia. Contributions

University Brain Tumor Research
Fund, Department of Neurology,

IDA KAY, 95, of West Bloomfield,
died May 10. She was the co-owner
of Kay Credit Jewelers. She was also
a past president of the Michigan
Region of Pioneer Women, past
chair of the Women's Division State
of Israel Bonds and past member of
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Mrs. Kay is survived by her sons
and daughters-in-law, Dr. Sherman
and Claire Kay, Dr. Donald and
Dorothy Kay of West Bloomfield;
grandchildren, Andrea and Steven
Migdal, Tammy and Jeff Dubin,
Reid Kay, Keith and Pamela Kay,
