An honor student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield, Ashley enjoys dancing,
skiing and gong to Camp Tamarack.
She has completed 13 mitzvah pro-
jects through Adat Shalom.

Chelsea Weinberger of Birmingham
will become a bat mitzvah at
Temple Beth El on Friday, May 11.
Participating in the ceremony will
be parents Howard and Laurie
Weinberger and
younger brother
Cody. Proud
grandparents are
Phillip and
Charlotte Edelheit
of Southfield.
Chelsea is an
honor student at
Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. Her inter-
ests include dance, gymnastics and
playing the flute. Her mitzvah pro-
ject included organizing a neighbor-
hood play and carnival, which
raised funds for the children's
leukemia charity and volunteering
her time at the Fleischman
Residence in West Bloomfield.

Eric Andrew Weintrob will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek B'nai
Israel on Saturday, May 12. He is
the son of Laurie and Sheldon
Weintrob and the
brother of Sari
Hope. Sharing in
his joy is proud
grandfather Arthur
Weintrob. He is
also the grandson
of the late Anne
and Ben Kosins
and Claire
Weintrob.
Eric is a seventh-grade student at
Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills, where he enjoys
playing saxophone in the school
band. He also enjoys participating
in basketball and football, snow-
boarding and listening to music.
