Orchard Lake Middle School, where
she is an honor student and plays clar-
inet in the symphony band and sings
in the choir, Nicole dances tap and
ballet, likes to swim and attend Camp
Tamarack. Her mitzvah projects
included volunteering at Yad Ezra,
working with senior citizens, assisting
in the Temple Israel religious school
and for the temple's Family Mitzvah
Day.

Adam David Luger will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, May 12, at Orchard Lake
Middle School. He
is the son of Lea and
Richard Luger and
brother of Sara and
Benjamin. Proud
grandparents are

Adam is a sev-
enth-grader at Yeshivat Akiva. He
enjoys basketball, hockey and spend-
ing time with friends. For his mitzvah

Middle School, Dan enjoys cartoons,
movies, TV and radio-controlled air-
planes. He found it particularly mean-
ingful to assist at Temple Israel's book
fair.

Elyse Hannah Obron will celebrate
her bat mitzvah during Havdalah ser-
vices at Temple Israel on Saturday,
May 12. She is the daughter of Lynne
and Dr. Jeffrey
Obron and sister of
Jacob. Excited
grandparents are
Dede Benaderet, Joe
Greenberg and
Shirley Obron. She
is also the grand-
child of the late Dr.

Attending Bloomfield Hills Middle
School, Elyse enjoys dance, snow-
boarding,
b3 music, travel and attending
Camp Tamakwa. She found it espe-
cially meaningful to volunteer at a
Jewish Association for Residential
Care home and to donate to JARC;
she also assisted at a day camp as part
of her mitzvah projects.

Lauren Rich will be called to the
Torah to celebrate her bat mitzvah at
Temple Shir Shalom on Friday, May
11. She is the
daughter of Joyce
Golden and Ronald
Rich and sister of
Sara Rich. Proud
grandparents are
Eleanor and Ken
Zuppke and Ruth
Rich.
Lauren is an
honor student at Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. She
enjoys horseback riding, acting,
singing, dancing and being with her
friends. This summer she plans to
attend Interlochen National Music
Camp. For her mitzvah projects, she
regularly visits a Jewish Association
for Residential Care home and she
volunteered at Yad Ezra.

Noah Schechter will become a bar
mitzvah on Friday, May 11, at Temple
Emanu-El. He is the son of Susie
Schechter and Kim
and Larry Schechter
and brother of Carla
and Joey. His great-
grandma is Freda
Smith; his grandpar-
ents are Judy and
Gordon Smith,
Dorothy and Ivan
Hoyt, Lee and Jerry
Gurwin.
Noah, a student at O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills,
enjoys playing North
Farmington/West Bloomfield baseball
and going to Camp Tamarack. In the
past, Noah volunteered with Temple
Emanu-El schoolchildren. His mitz-
vah projects included working at the
temple's Purim carnival.

on Saturday, May 12, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. She is the
