the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit, serving
Thanksgiving dinners, wrapping
gifts and preparing meals for St.
Leo's Soup Kitchen and volunteering
his services for the Walk For Life
through the National Cancer
Foundation.

Lilly Hannah Zoller of Huntington
Woods will become a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, May 12, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. She is the daughter of
Howard and Beth
Zoller. Grandparents
are Melvin and Carol

Gilbert and Phyllis

Lilly is an honor
student at Norup
Middle School in Oak Park who
enjoys dance, playing the cello, whale
watching and hanging out with
friends. For her mitzvah projects, Lilly
helped out at Yad Ezra and Shaarey
Zedek and collected money for lym-

phoma/leukemia and juvenile diabetes
funds.

Joshua Colman celebrated his bar
mitzvah on Saturday, Jan. 20, at
Congregation Temple Sinai in New
Orleans. He is the
son of former
Detroiter Cantor
Joel Colman and
Jackie Colman.
Proud grandparents
are all former
Detroiters: Joanne
and Richard
Kinney of
Calabasas, Calif.,
and Dan and Eve Colman of
Turlock, Calif.
Joshua is a seventh-grader at St.
George Episcopal School of New
Orleans, where he enjoys playing on the
school basketball and baseball teams. For
his mitzvah project, Joshua worked on
the Temple Sinai Habitat for Humanity
house that is being built by several con-
gregations in the New Orleans area.
