JACK HOROWITZ, 78, of Delray
Beach, Fla., formerly of Southfield, died
March 1. An automobile mechanic, he
was employed with the Marriott
Corporation Assisted Living Division in
Delray. He had owned Jack's Union 76
station in Oak Park and had worked as
transportation director for the Jewish
Community Center in Boca Raton. He
was an Israeli Army veteran.
Mr. Horowitz is survived by his wife,
Tova Horowitz; sons and daughter-in-law,
David and Sharon Horowitz of West
Bloomfield, Yuval Horowitz of Florida;
grandsons, Todd Horowitz and Jason
Horowitz; brother and sister-in-law, Fred
and Lois Howard of West Bloomfield.
Interment in Florida. Contributions
may be directed to the Jewish War
Veterans, Alzheimer's Association or
Hadassah. This announcement was placed
at the request of the family by the Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
LAWRENCE "LARRY" KLEIMAN, 55,
of Southfield, died Feb. 20. He was an
auto industry finance manager and a pas-
sionate Yankee, Knicks and Giants fan.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn
Kleiman; daughters and son-in-law, Stacey
Kleiman and fiance Eric Stanford, Ilissa
and Phil Auger of Lake Orion, Debra
Kleiman of Rochester Hills; son, Peter
Kamego of Southfield; grandchildren,
Jordan, Madison and Maxwell Auger,
Kayla Kamego; sister and brother-in-law,
Shirley and Mac Duberstein of
Farmington Hills; brother, Neil Kleiman
and fiancee Judy Behrmann.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park

EDWARD LAKER, 58, of Farmington
Hills, died March I.
He is survived by his mother, Rae
Laker of Southfield; sisters, Carol Laker of
Southfield, Dolores Fergison. Mr. Laker
was the loving son of the late Marvin
Laker.

GERALD A. LIPNIK, 78, of Ann Arbor,
died March 1. He was a lawyer in Ann
Arbor for 50 years, received his undergrad-
uate and his law degree from the
University of Michigan and was an avid
U-M sports fan. He was also a United
States Army Air Corps veteran, a member
of the Washtenaw Bar Association,
Michigan State Bar Association and the
American Bar
Association.
Mr. Lipnik is survived by his wife,
Marilyn Lipnik; sons, Robert Lipnik of
Ann Arbor, Michael Lipnik of Cincinnati,
Stephen Lipnik of Chicago, Andrew
Lipnik of Ann Arbor; brothers and sisters-
in-law, Seymour and Linda Lipnik of
South Carolina, Alvin and Doris Lipink of
Ann Arbor. He was the loving son of the
late Louis and the late Lillian Lipnik.
Interment at Arborcrest Cemetery.

IRMA PASICK, 81, of Southfield, died
March 1. She was a retail sales consultant,
a member of the Birmingham Temple and
sang in the Temple Israel choir.
Mrs. Pasick is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Robert and Pat Pasick of
Ann Arbor; grandsons, Adam and Daniel
Pasick; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and
Saul Cooper of West Bloomfield. She was
the beloved wife of the late Albert Pasick.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

Pomeranz; great-granddaughter, Sophia
Davidson. She was the beloved wife of th
late Aaron Pomeranz; sister of the late
Abraham Siegel, David Siegel, Alec Siegel
Max Siegel and Mary Feldman.
Graveside services were held at the
Workmen's Circle Cemetery.
