An automobile mechanic, he was employed with the Marriott Corporation Assisted Living Division in Delray. He had owned Jack's Union 76 station in Oak Park and had worked as transportation director for the Jewish Community Center in Boca Raton. He was an Israeli Army veteran. Mr. Horowitz is survived by his wife, Tova Horowitz; sons and daughter-in-law, David and Sharon Horowitz of West Bloomfield, Yuval Horowitz of Florida; grandsons, Todd Horowitz and Jason Horowitz; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Lois Howard of West Bloomfield.
