ETHEL STEIN, 88, of West

LOUISE WAYBURN, 96, of Palm

Bloomfield, died Dec. 13.
She is survived by her friends, Agi
and Zoli Rubin of Farmington Hills;
Bonnie and Barry Jacobs; Vicki, Amy,
Randy. Mrs. Stein was the beloved wife
of the late Sam Stein.
Interment at Hebrew Memorial Park.
Arrangements by Hebrew Memorial
Chapel.

Beach, Fla., died Dec. 15. She was a co-
owner of Englander-Triangle Furniture.
She was also a member of Temple Beth
El and a past president of its sisterhood.
Mrs. Wayburn is survived by her hus-
band, George Wayburn; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Barrett and Sybil Wayburn of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Bradley
Wayburn, Corie and Arthur Crawley,
Kip and John Vota; great-grandchildren,
Griffin Crawley and Nick Crawley; sis-
ter, Velma Friedman. Mrs. Wayburn was
the dear sister of the late Bernice Hopp
and the late Ivor J. Kahn. Interment at
Beth El Memorial Park. Arrangements
by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

ANDREW EVAN SUGAR, 47, former

Detroiter of Grand Rapids, died Dec. 7.
He was the proprietor of Comstock
Park Foods. He was the former director
of the Kent County Association for
Retarded Citizens, president of the
Michigan Association for Retarded
Citizens and a religious school teacher
for Temple Emanu-El.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; daugh-
ters, Annah and Maggie; father, Dr.
Maurice Sugar and his wife, Norma;
brother and sister-in-law, Paul and
Cyndee; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law,
Nell Waldman and Lorne Rubenstein,
Sara and Mark Green, Dan Kozak.
Interment in Grand Rapids.
Contributions may be made to a charity
of one's choice.

EDYTHE (WEBERMAN) SWARTZ

71, of Delray Beach, Fla. Died Dec. 12.
She was active in B'nai B'rith and
Hadassah.
She is survived by her husband of 50
years, Frederick C. Swartz; daughters,
Annise Swartz-Levine (Jeffrey) and
Marla Swartz; grandchildren, Ashley,
Jilian Jarret Levine, Chaely and Kiera
Chartier; sisters, Leah Kaplan, Gertrude
Feldman, Rose Berlinberg; brother and
sister-in-law, Seymour and Paula
Weberman; brother-in-law, Edward
Taylor. She was the loving sister of the
late Sarah Taylor; sister-in-law of the
late Seymour Kaplan, the late Marry
Feldman and the late Joseph Berlinberg.
Services and interment in Delray
Beach. Contributions may be made to
the Diabetes Foundation of Michigan.

RUTHE S. YOUNG, 73, of Bloomfield

Hills, died Dec. 16.
She is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Deena and Stuart Lockman
of Birmingham, Laurie and Dr. Jeffrey
Barnett of Ann Arbor and grandchil-
dren, Jeffrey and Alison Lockman,
Susan Lockman, Karen Lockman, Jacob
Welshans, Nicholas Welshans, Rebecca,
Barnett and Julie Barnett. She was the
beloved wife of the late Julius Young;
loving mother of the late Marica H.
Young.
Interment at Clover Hill Park

CLARA ZAGER, 98, of Oak Park, died

Dec. 15. She was a laundry and dry
cleaning executive. She belonged to
Hadassah, Jewish National Fund,
Kinneret Chapter of Na'amat, Farband
and Histadrut.
Mrs. Zager is survived by her nieces
and nephews, Ann and Ben Gaynor,
Shirley Gaynor, Lorraine Gaynor; other
relatives and friends. She was the
beloved wife of the late Israel Joseph
Zager; dear aunt of the late Dr. Alex
Gaynor and the late Sol Gaynor.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman

IDA TEGER, 84, of Southfield, died

Dec. 14.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Stuart and Janelle Teger
of Southfield; brothers and sister-in-law,
Daniel and Evelyn Sherman of
Pennsylvania, Sam Sherman of Boston;
grandchildren, Shira Teger, Ari Teger,
Daniel Teger, Emma Teger. Mrs. Teger
was the beloved wife of the late Sol
Teger.
