Ruth is an

Orchard Lake
Middle School in
West Bloomfield. She enjoys play-
ing the clarinet and the piano. She
had a wonderful bat mitzvah trip to
Israel over the summer that includ-
ed a special ceremony at Masada.
As part of her mitzvah projects,
Ruth volunteered at Yad Ezra, packing
and distributing food to the needy.
Joshua Benjamin Rollins will
become a bar mitzvah at Temple
Beth El on Saturday, Sept. 16. Josh
is the son of Julie and David Rollins
and brother of
Sarah. Proud
grandparents are
Elaine and George
Maskin, Marvin
Rollins and Betty
Rollins.
Josh is a sev-
enth-Grade honor
student at Power
Middle school in Farmington. He
enjoys baseball, basketball, swim-
ming and football. He also plays the
piano and violin. Josh is the key-
board player in the Kidz Klez Band.
For Josh's mitzvah project, he col-
lected over 1,200 books for Glazer
Elementary School in Detroit.
