Elects Leadership

Ronn Nadis assumed the presidency
of Congregation Beth Ahm on May
2L Nadis, a lifelong member, has
served as president of the shul's USY
chapter. He led the
congregation's men's
club from 1992-
1994. He has been a
board member since
1991 and an officer
since 1996, most
recently as first vice
president. In recent
years, he has served
Ronn Nadis
as the shul's cantor
during the High
Holy Days.
Nadis is a principal in the
Southfield law firm of Taubman,
Nadis and Gorosh PC. He serves on
the board of the Jewish Association for
Residential Care.
Also serving will be vice presidents
Ara Rubyan, Stacy Wallach and
Naomi Levine; treasurer Sid Blackman
and recording secretary Andy Belsky.
Newly installed members of the
board are Esther Davidson, Lisa
Kurzman, Libby Newman, Deborah

James Jonas was elected president of
the Agency for Jewish Education for a
second term June 19 at the agency's
annual meeting.
Other officers elected were Arthur
Horwitz and Susie Citrin, vice presi-
dents; Gayle Burstein, treasurer; and
Paula Glazier, secretary.
Dr. Joan Lessen Firestone, Dr.
Lynda Giles, Joseph Greenberg and
Michael Kasky were elected to the
executive committee. Elected mem-
bers-at-large include Irene Beck, Gayle
Burstein, Dr. Joan Lessen Firestone,
Joshua Mondry, Esther Sherizen, Jessie
Stern and Andrew Weil.
