chances are that the person could be at
one of the Little Daddy's restaurants
... training new people there ... Some
of them have been put into managerial
positions at the six locations ... But
most of them return to Big Daddy's at
some time or another ... Owners Rick
Rogow and Tommy Peristeris have the
servers alternating between Big
Daddy's and Little Daddy's.
They are also helping out at Big
Daddy's banquets at the Parthenon
House and Drake, and next door to
the restaurant ... The party operations
have gotten bigger than ever before,
with General Manager Artie Ehrlich
doing a fine job ... He is extremely
knowledgeable ... and a big help to
folks having shindigs.
NEW OWNER has taken over at
the former locale of Gazebo Grill and
West Side Grill ... on Farmington
Road, north of 14 Mile Road in West
Bloomfield ... It's now called Jackie's
of Bloomfield, owned by Jack Skrelja,
whose family dining restaurant is
putting out Greek, Italian and
American dishes ... Jack also has
Jackie's of Hazel Park on Nine Mile
Road, east of John R.
GET WELL WISHES ... to top
financial planner Audrey Pearl
Feldman ... recuperating at home.

BEING THE FORMER

mashgiach

(supervisor of kashrut) for the last 12
years at Camp Tamarack might not
give him full reason to own his own
kosher carry-out ... But Yossie
Jacobovitz, brother of Rabbi Avraham
Jacobovitz of Machon LTorah in Oak
Park, has ample, previous experience
as a kosher food operator.
He is not without restaurant
knowledge operating his new All-K
kosher carry-out and catering on
Coolidge, a half block north of
Lincoln in Oak Park ... Yossie was a
partner in the sir-down La Glatt
restaurant in Los Angeles, and also
managed a kosher pizza spot in the
west coast city.
The meat and parve All-K has no
tables, but counter and chairs for peo-
ple to eat and wait ... with deli, ham-
burgers, roast beef, salads, soups, etc.
FOLKS WHO who miss those lus-
cious Sanders ice cream puffs they
used to love ... and have stayed away
from them because of diet or health
reasons can now take heart ... At Yoz
on Orchard Lake Road and at 14 Mile
and Farmington Road, there are puffs
with fat-free hot fudge and fat-free
.
yogurt topped with cherries ... Take it
from many, they are delicious ... The
popular Yoz spots are owned by Susie
and Sonny Modiano.
