New and veteran volunteers who help
the Jewish Federation's Annual
Campaign acquire new donors can
vie for prizes at a new gifts
phonathon 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday,
April 30.
Volunteers will be eligible for raffle
prizes ranging from a week in Aspen
to gift certificates at local shops.
Federation's Women's Department
and Young Adult Division will partic-
ipate with campaign leadership,
under the-new gifts chairmanship of
Suzan Folbe Curhan and Terri Farber
Roth and Young Adult Division new
gift chairs Scott Kaufman and Mark
Weintraub.

The Grosse Pointe Jewish Council
celebrated Passover on-Thursday,
April 20, at its annual seder.
The council, comprised of 180
families, works to preserve and pro-
mote Jewish heritage, tradition and
culture on metropolitan Detroit's east
side. It offers cultural, educational
and social forums for its membership.
Services are held throughout the year.
The GPJC also sponsors a Sunday
school for kindergarten-eighth grade
students.

SPACE Hosts
Support Groups
SPACE for Changing Families is
accepting registration for a divorce
support group that begins Monday,
May 1, for six weeks.
A moving on support group will
also begin May 1 for six weeks to
help men and women put divorce
behind them and start toward a new
life.
Both groups will meet 7:30-9:30
p.m., led by a trained facilitator, at
the SPACE office in the Homestead
USA Building, 26400 Lahser Road,
Suite 100, Southfield.
There is a suggested donation of
$30 for each series. Pre-registration is
required by April 28.
