Aish HaTorah hosted a grand open-
ing for its new local spiritual devel-
opment center in downtown
Birmingham on April 9.
The new center is in a storefront
at the 555 South Old Woodward
Building on the garden
level.
Aish HaTorah is an
international adult educa-
tion organization with
headquarters in Jerusalem.
It appeals to Jews regardless
of their affiliation, level of
knowledge or observance.
Rabbis Alon Tolwin and
Tzvi Hochstadt staff the

Detroit branch.
Programs include lunch and learn,
Internet services and the nationally
run Speed Dating program for
Jewish singles. Aish also hosts jazz
nights and trips to Israel.
