Temple Beth El
Comforts Bereaved

Temple Beth El's Bereavement
Support Group will meet 1-2:30
p.m. on six consecutive Wednesday
afternoons, beginning May 3.
The group, co-led by Peggy
Frank, a certified bereavement facili-
tator, and Rabbi David Castiglione,
will offer a warm, non-judgmental
environment in which to explore
issues arising from the grieving
process.
The support group is under the
auspices of the Temple Beth El
Caring Committee.
To participate, call the rabbis'
study, (248) 851-1100. There is no
charge.

Social Ethics
Class Set

Rabbi Eli Mayerfeld, executive direc-
tor of Yeshiva Beth Yehudah, will
conduct a six-week class in social
ethics, beginning in May, at Yad
Ezra, 26641 Harding, Oak Park.
The class, titled "Torah has An
Answer for Everything ... Where Do
I Fit In? Insights into Our Everyday
Moral Dilemmas," is scheduled for
every Tuesday in May and the first
Tuesday in June.
A dairy lunch will be served for
$5 at 11:45 a.m.; lunch reservations
are required. The Tuesday lectures
will begin at noon and end at 1 p.m.

Shir Shalom
Honors Youth

Temple Shir Shalom will honor six
graduating seniors at Shabbat ser-
vices 8 p.m. Friday, June 2.
In this year's class are Neely

Sharkey and Adriennne Zuckerman.
Confirmation students will be
recognized at a special service 8 p.m.
erev Shavuot, Thursday, June 8.
