The associates of The Fountains at Franklin, a
continuing care retirement community, wish everyone a



Fallon Elana Garfield-Turner will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Dec. 11,
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. She
is the daughter of
Inez Garfield and
Lee Turner and the
sister of Lexie,
Steven and Adam.
Her proud grandfa-
ther is Henry
Garfield. She is also
the granddaughter of the late Leo
Garfield, Shirley and Irving Turner.
Fallon is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Some of her mitzvah
projects included working with the chil-
dren in the Friendship Circle, being a
teacher's aide for the kindergarten stu-
dents at Shaarey Zedek Hebrew school
and working with residents at the JARC
Pitt home. She also visited with
Fleischman residents.
Fallon enjoys playing basketball
(including for her school's basketball
team), skiing, horseback riding and
other sports.



Kyle Brandon Goldman became a bar
mitzvah on Shabbat Chanuka, Saturday,
Dec. 4, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
He is the son of Judy
and Arnie Goldman
and the big brother
of Ilana and Marlee.
Proud grandparents
are Carole and Max
Frank of Farmington
Hills and Rochelle
and Milton Goldman of West
Bloomfield.
Kyle is an eighth-grade honor stu-
dent at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. He is on the varsity basketball
team and enjoys computers, movies,
cooking and listening to music.
As part of his mitzvah projects, Kyle
was involved with JARC, aiding with
the homeless project at Adat Shalom,
He also sponsored a charity garage sale
for the Rainbow Connection, which
helps grant wishes to children from
Michigan with life-threatening illnesses.
Kyle read from the Torah from the
zealots' quarters atop Masada when he
celebrated his bar mitzvah with his fam-
ily and grandparents in Israel this past
summer.
