BRUCE B. ENGELSON, 46, of
Southfield, died Oct. 18.
He is survived by his wife, Renee
Engelson; parents William and Charlotte
Engelson of Southfield; daughters Emily

brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Jo Ann
Engelson of Southfield.

PAUL KELMAN, 78, of Oak Park, died
Oct. 15.
Mr. Kelman, a CPA,
received accounting
and law degrees from
Wayne State University
and taught accounting
there. He was honored
by an ongoing lecture
series in business ethics
at WSU.
He was treasurer of
Young Israel of
Paul Kelman
Greenfield and a
staunch supporter of
and regular visitor to Israel. He was an
avid fisherman and a voracious reader.
Mr. Kelman is survived by his wife,
Gwen Kelman; sons and daughter-in-law
Dr. Charles and Simone Kelman of
California, Dr. David Kelman of Atlanta;
daughters and son-in-law Janet Kelman
of Huntington Woods, Deborah Kelman
and Rabbi Marvin Goodman of Foster
City, Calif., Miriam Kelman of Menlo
Park, Calif.; brothers and sisters-in-law
Nathan and Miriam Kelman of
Southfield, Sol and Nettie Stein of Oak

RUTH L. LEFTON, 88, of Southfield,

died Oct. 10.
She is survived by her brother, Meyer
Feinstein of Southfield; sister and brother-
in-law Sadie and Julian Espar of
California; nieces and nephews Marlene
Slutsky, David Espar, Tim Espar.
Mrs. Lefton was the beloved wife of
the late Solomon Lefton.

FARA LITMAN MORRIS, 97, former
Detroiter of Palm Beach, Fla., died Oct. 14.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her daugh-
ters, Ann Kobacker Herman of Florida,
Marilyn A. Rosenfield; granddaughter
Robin Ann Kobacker.
She was the beloved wife of the late Louis
Robinson and the late Reuben Rosenfield.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

REBECCA NEIDICH, 89, of Bloomfield
Hills, died Oct. 11. Ms. Neidich was a
legal secretary.
She is survived by her niece and
nephews, Penny and Mark Krane of
Bloomfield Hills and Richard Neidich.
Interment was in New York.

ESFIR OSTROVSKAYA, 92, of

Southfield, died Oct. 10.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Nina and Yakov Sigal of
Southfield; grandchildren Alex and Maya
Sigal, Gregory and Emiliya Sigal; great-
grandchildren Dmitry Sigal, Igor Sigal,
Elena Sigal, Vadim Sigal.
Mrs. Ostrovskaya was the beloved wife
of the late Abram Ostrovsky.

ESTHER POMISH, 99, of Waterford,

died Oct. 12.
Mrs. Pomish is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Seymour and Betty
Pomish of Waterford; daughter Gertrude
Pomish of Los Angeles; grandchildren
Susan and Lee Lutz, Michael and Nancy
Pomish, Bob and Ruth Pomish, Lisa
Bellaver, Morrine and Geoffrey Silverman,
Craig and Sarah Pomish; 13 great-grand-
children.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Morris Pomish and dear mother of the
late Irving Pomish.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial
