Mr. Kelman, a CPA, received accounting and law degrees from Wayne State University and taught accounting there. He was honored by an ongoing lecture series in business ethics at WSU. He was treasurer of Young Israel of Paul Kelman Greenfield and a staunch supporter of and regular visitor to Israel. He was an avid fisherman and a voracious reader.
