CELIA ROTT, 91, of West Bloomfield,
died Oct. 13.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Marty and Fritzi Rott
of Farmington Hills, Cy and Elysa Rott
of Birmingham, Sheldon and Carol Rott
of West Bloomfield; daughter and son-
in-law Ruth and Paul Chosid of West
Bloomfield; brother Joseph Lambert; sis-
ter and brother-in-:law Marsha and
Harry Korn; 14 grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to Yeshiva
Beth Yehudah, P.O. Box 2044, Southfield,
MI 48037 or to a charity of one's choice.
Interment was at Workmen's Circle
Cemetery. Services and arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

WILLIAM H. SCHWARTZ, 85, former
Detroiter of Apopka, Fla., died Oct. 14.
He was a pharmacist.
Mr. Schwartz is survived by his wife,
Francine; sons Earl Schwartz of
Farmington Hills, Robert Schwartz of
Farmington Hills, Randall Greene of
Winter Park, Fla.; daughters Beverly
Dovitz of Bloomfield Hills, Barbara
Mann of Canada; grandchildren Hunter,
Matthew, Whitney, Jeffrey, Kimberly.
Interment in Florida. Arrangements
by Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel,
Orlando, Fla.

ALBERT A. SHAPIRO, 86, of
Henderson, Nev., formerly of Detroit,
died Oct. 10.
He is survived by his wife, Anne
Shapiro; son and daughter-in-law Jack
and Dorothy Shapiro of Henderson; sis-
ter-in-law Regina Shapiro; grandson
David Shapiro; great-granddaughter
Daniella Silverstein.
Mr. Shapiro was the beloved husband
of the late Ruth Shapiro; loving grandfa-
ther of the late Debbie Silverstein.
Services and interment were held at
Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

ELAINE SOLLINS, 73, of Baltimore,
died Oct. 16.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Risa and Dr. Jay Levinson of
West Bloomfield; sons and daughter-in-
law Chip and Ellen Sollins of Potomac,
Md., Ted Sollins of Baltimore; grandchil-
dren Michael, Robert and Scott Jurewicz
of West Bloomfield, Sydnee and Drew
Sollins of Potomac; brothers Leroy and
Paul Naden of Baltimore.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Stanley Sollins.

BENJAMIN TENCER, 70, of
Philadelphia, died Oct. 11.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Mr. Tencer
