WARREN T. JIRIK, 78, of Lillian,
Ala., died Sept. 30. He was a tool
maker/engineer at Burroughs
Corporation for 42 years and served
in the Army Air Force during World
War II. He loved to fish.
He was the husband of Winifred,
father of David and Andrew
(Shawn) of California, Allan
(Karen) of West Bloomfield; grand-
father of Jonathan, Benjamin and
Zachary; brother of Eugene of
Florida; sister Viola Plascjak of
Costa Rica.

LESTER KALISH, 79 of
Farmington Hills, died Sept. 28.
Mr. Kalish was a

He was an early

Lester Kalish
Association,
and was a long-
time member and entertainment
director of the Town and Country
Club. Following his retirement, he
was elected president of his home-
owners association at his condo-
minium complex in Boca Raton,
Fla.
Mr. Kalish is survived by his
wife, Alma Kalish; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law Jay and Mimi Kalish of
Farmington Hills, Mark and Judy
Kalish of Toledo, Murray and Leslie
Kalish of California; grandchildren
Benjamin, Samantha, Jennifer,
Alexander and Robert Kalish.
Interment was at Adat Shalom
