and France.
Mrs. Kaplan was a member of
Galilee Chapter of Jewish Women
International and Temple Emanu-El
Sisterhood and sang with the Music
Study Club's choir.
She is survived by her husband,
Simon "Sy" Kaplan; daughter and
son-in-law Maureen and David
Stafford of Schererville, Ind.; sister
and brother-in-law Barbara and
Sydney Geller of West Bloomfield;
daughter-in-law Paula Kaplan;
grandchildren Scott Kaplan,
Brandon Kaplan, Eric Stafford; sis-
ter-in-law Rose Kaluzny.
Mrs. Kaplan was the loving moth-
er of the late Jeffrey Kaplan; loving
sister of the late Claire Schall, the
late Rae Schindler, the late Jean
Geer.
Contributions may be made to

Ste. 205-D, Oak Park, MI 48237.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Services and arrangements
by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

SIDNEY ISAAC SCHWARTZ, 68,
of Whitmore Lake, died Oct. 3, Mr.
Schwartz was the owner of Michigan
Textiles.
He is survived by his wife,
Barbara Schwartz; son and daughter-
in-law Michael and Pat Schwartz of
Tecumseh; daughters and son-in-law
Debbie and Stan Megdall of West
Bloomfield, Karen Schwartz of
Berkley; grandchildren Hannah and
Mollie Megdall and Rebecca and
Rachel Schwartz.
Mr. Schwartz was the loving son
of the late Harry and the late Rose
Schwartz.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to
a charity of one's choice.
