as the education and youth director
at Congregation. B'nai Moshe.
Hod
received a
bachelor's
degree in
education
administra-
tion, Bible
and Hebrew
language,
with special-
ization in
special and
adult educa-
tion, from
Nava Hod
Tel Aviv
University. In
addition, she
attended State Teachers College,
Seminar Hakibbutzim, receiving a
senior teacher designation in early
childhood, elementary and high
school art and science and a special-
ization in music and art therapy,.
Hod attended Drake University in
Des Moines, Iowa, and received her
teacher's certificate for K-6 as well as
a master's degree in counseling edu-
cation and vocational rehabilitation.
For eight years, Hod served as
head of Jewish studies, a Hebrew
language teacher and prepared the
curriculum for Hebrew and Judaic
studies for the Des Moines Jewish
Academy.

D. Dan & Betty Kahn Building in
West Bloomfield and the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Building in Oak Park
starting the week of Aug. 30.
The JCC provides classes for peo-
ple of all ages, from children as
young as 17 months to sports classes
for kids, classes for adults and per-
sons with special needs.
