Amanda Nicole Mony will be called to
the Torah for her bat mitzvah; she will
conduct havdala services on Saturday,
May 8, at Temple Shir Shalom.
Amanda is the loving daughter of
Sharon and Michael Mony and sister of
Jeremy. Proud grand-
parents are Joan and
Norman Goldin and
Phyllis and Henry
Lenhoff.
Amanda is a sev-
enth grader at Abbott
Middle School in
West Bloomfield. She
is in show choir at
school. Her interests are singing, danc-
ing and acting.
Amanda's mitzvah projects included
fund raising for cancer research and the
Michigan Humane Society and donat-
ing time to Yad Ezra.
Sara Dena Bloomberg will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
May 8, at Congregation B'nai Moshe.
Sara is the daughter of Mickey and
Erwin Bloomberg, sister to Audrey. She
is the granddaughter of Albert and Beth
Margolin and the late Morris and
Mildred Bloomberg.
Sara is a seventh
grade honor student
at O.E. Dunckel
Middle School in
Farmington Hills. She
enjoys playing the
clarinet, volleyball,
basketball and
singing. Sara has par-
ticipared in the Purim
Parcel Project and has volunteered at
Yad Ezra with her family
Jonathan David Elson of Royal Oak
will be bar mitzvah at Temple Emanu-El
on Saturday, May 8. Rabbi Joseph Klein
and Cantor Norman Rose will lead ser-
vices. Participating in the ceremony will
be parents, Lawrence Elson and Pamela
Rieger, and siblings Aaron and Miriam
Elson. Proud grandparents are Dr.
Abraham and Pearl Elson of Southfield
and Audrey Rieger of
Madison Heights.
