Mrs. Stark was the beloved wife of the

Bloomfield, died March 18.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann

FAYE STEINIK, 86, of Margate, Fla., died
March 15.
Mrs. Steinik is survived by her husband

AVA MARLENE VINTON, 42, formerly
of Oak Park, of Helena, Mont., died March
10. She was a speech pathologist in the
Helena school district.
A 1974 graduate of Oak Park High,
Mrs. Vinton (nee Segal) received a B.A.
degree from Michigan State University and
a master's in speech pathology from
Western Michigan University. She worked
in her field in Ohio, California, Minnesota,
Idaho and Colorado.
She married in 1984.
Mrs. Vinton was
the subject of a
Jewish News article
in 1996 describing
her struggle to fund
an autologous bone
marrow transplant
for ovarian cancer.
The procedure was approved by her
insurance carrier six weeks later.
She is survived by her husband, Philip
Vinton; daughters Mara Faye and Paige
Leah; sisters and brothers-in-law Susan and
James Wagenheim of Wixom, Gloria and
Larry Woodlock of Sacramento.
She was the loving daughter of the late
Faye and Harry Segal.

MARY WEINBERG, 89, of Las Vegas,
died March 21.
Mrs. Weinberg is survived by her son
and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan
Weinberg of West Bloomfield; grandchil-
dren Bonnie Byhoffer, Jodi and Robert
Galperin, Lisy and Craig Starr and Jason
and Este' Katzman; great-grandchildren
Kaylah, Jeremiah and Elijah Byhoffer, Jade
Starr; Jacob Galperin. She was the beloved
wife of the late John Weinberg.
WILLIAM WHITE, 71, of St. Joseph,
died March 16.
He is survived by wife, Helen White;
sons and daughters-in-law Bradford and
Carol White of Evanston, Ill. and Patrick
and Toni White of Canton Township;
daughter-in-law Karen Bramigna-Warren of
Cary, Ill.; sister and brother-in-law Peggy
and Art Caruana of Canton Township;
brother Daniel White of Plymouth; grand-
children Elizabeth, Nicholas, Abby,
Hannah, Christopher and Natalie. William
was the father of the late Larry White.

LEON YELENSKY, 83, former Detroiter
of California, died March 9.
Mr. Yelensky was a life-long member of
Workmen's Circle. He and his wife were
members of the Sunrise Farm Community,
a Jewish kibbutz established near Saginaw
during the Depression.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years,
Anne; sons Alan of Los Gatos, Calif., Paul
(Nora) of Huntington Woods; daughters
Beth of Edina, Minn., and Lori (Richie
Berg) of Ithaca, N.Y.; nine grandchildren
and one great-grandchild.
