Fighting Heart Disease
and Stroke

He was the loving father of the late
Robert Levitan and the dear brother of
the late Archie Levitan, the late Leo
Levitan, the late Lillian Gordon and the
late Dora Sobcov.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

DONALD L. ROBERTS, JR., died
Dec. 15. He is survived by his loving
wife Karen E.; daughter, Lisa N.
Roberts; mother Barbara Roberts;
brothers, David and Douglas
Roberts; father-in-law and mother-
in-law, Herbert and Selma Stoorman.
Services were held at A.J.
Desmond & Sons Funeral Home.

FRIEDA MILINSKY, 89, of South-
field, died Jan. 1. She is survived by her
sons and daughter-in-law, Sol and
Rhoda Milan of West Bloomfield and
Marvin Milinsky of Southfield; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Linda and Jacob
Schwarzberg of Southfield; brother and
sister-in-law, Larry and Edith Kowalsky
of West Bloomfield; sisters-in-law and
brothers-in-law, Nettie and Robert ,
Rubinstein and Sidney and Lillian
Milan; grandchildren, Gary Milan, Stu-
art Milan, Mitchell and Jill Milan, Leslie
Gruber, Jennifer Gruber, Lauren Gru-
ber, Isa Schwarzberg and Donny
Aharon, Abigail (Abbie) Schwarzberg;
great-grandchildren, Matthew Milan,
Jordan Milan and Evan Milan. Mrs.
Milinsky was the beloved wife of the
late Hyman Milinsky; dear sister of the
late Zelick and the late Fanny Kowalsky,
the late Sarah, and the late Ela Dzooin.

est of J.N.F., 17100 W Ten Mile Rd.,

WILLIAM SAK, 84, of West Bloom-
field, died Jan. 3. Mr. Sak was the co-
founder and co-owner of Inrecon
Construction specializing in insur-
ance repairs. He was a 42nd Rainbow
Division veteran of World War II, a
member of Mosaic Lodge and a
member of Temple Israel.
Mr. Sak is survived by his wife,
Ruth Blatt Sak; daughter and son-
in-law, Elizabeth and Dr. Thomas
Kozak of Texas; son and daughter-
in-law, Donald and Martha Sak of
West Bloomfield; stepchildren,
Martin and Nancie Blatt; grandchil-
dren, Andrea and Michael Kozak,
Julie and Karl Roehrig, Amy and
Kevin Strong, Kristi-na Sak and
fiance, Eric Peterson, Robert Sak, fl
Lauren Blatt, Susan Kiddie,
Stephanie and James Kiddle, Reva
and David Lipman, Michelle Blatt,
Jennifer Blatt; great-grandchildren,
Abby Lipman and Matthew Strong;
and sister, Nathalie Beny .as. He was
the beloved husband of the late
Aina Sak; the loving step-father of J
the late Allen Blatt and the late Irisr—\
Blatt Ellison and the dear brother of
the late Maxwell Sak.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.

SANDRA NELSON, 59, of Royal
Oak, died Dec. 28. She is survived by
her daughters and sons-in-law, Amy
and Andy Burbidge of Rochester Hills,
Nicole and David Eberlein of Saline,
Mich.; son, Alan Nelson of Detroit; sis-
ter and brother-in-law, Sally and Larry
Freed of Oak Park; grandson, Matthew.
Services were held at the Machpelah
Cemetery Chapel followed by inter-
ment in the cemetery. Contributions
can be made to the Karmanos Cancer
Institute, 18831 W 12 Mile, Lathrup
Village, MI 48076, or to a charity of
one's choice.

IDA PESSIN, 72, of Trenton, died Jan.
3. Mrs. Pessin is survived by her daugh-
ter, Sydelle Morrison ofTrenton; 13
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
one brother and two sisters. She was the
beloved wife of the late Isaac Pessin and
the loving mother of the late Helen
Gaskin.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.

ABE "Ar SCHWARTZ, of Oak
Park, died Nov. 26. Mr. Schwartz was I
a retail furniture executive. He-was a
life member of Na'amat and a life
member and past president of Pisgah
Lodge of B'nai B'rith. Mr. Schwartz is
survived by his wife, Belle Schwartz;
sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. David
and Judith Schwartz of West Bloom-
field, Kenneth and Dianne Schwartz
of Troy; daughter, Carolyn Kanat of
Oak Park; grandchildren, Dr. Ben-
jamin Schwartz and Dr. Sarah Tolbert,
RebeLca Schwartz and Roger Feigel-----)
son, Daniel and Stacy Schwartz,
Steven Schwartz, Jill Schwartz, Daniel'
Kanat and sister, Selma Apel. He was
the beloved husband of the late Rose
Schwartz.
Interment at Hebrew Memorial
