On Calendar
The Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish Corn-
munity Center in Oak Park will host
the monthly bingo at 12:30 p.m. Mon-
day, June 22. There is a small donation.
The Yiddish Culture Club will be
>held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, facili-
tated by Chaim Rosenthal. There is no
charge.
"Successful Aging" is a special pro-
gram 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 24. Reva
Klar, clinical nurse specialist in gerontol-
ogy, will conduct the lecture. This pro-
gram is free of charge.
The dancing troupe the Sixth Gate
Cloggers will perform at 1 p.m. Thurs-
/ day, June 25. This program is sponsored
by the Boaz Siegel Cultural Fund and is
free of charge.
Pianist David Syme will appear at
7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Rothstein
Park in the first of Oak Park's Summer
Concert Series. This program is free of
charge. (Bring a blanket)
Cafe Europa Detroit will be held at
12:45 p.m. Monday, June 29, with live
> entertainment by Laura and Ted
Schwartz in a European coffee house
atmosphere. This program is for Holo-
caust survivors, families and friends.
Donations will be accepted.
For Women Only will meet every
other Thursday of the month. The next
meeting is slated for 10:30 a.m. Thurs-
day, June 25.
Adult art classes, instructed by Harri-
et Gelfond, are held every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to
noon. This is a beginning class using
various media. There is a charge which
includes art supplies.
