MARION SANDLER, 85, of Farm-
ington Hills, died Feb. 22. Mrs. San-
dler was a life member of Hadassah
and since sixth grade a charter mem-
ber of "Gay Essen," a group of
friends that gathered together every
Saturday for lunch.
She is survived by her husband,
Samuel Sandler; sons and daughters-
in-law, Marshal and Judi Sandler of
Scottsdale, Ariz., Robert and Aviva
Sandler of Commerce; daughter and
son-in-law, Susan and Izidor Bass of
Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Eliza-
beth Sandler, Eric Sandler, Jennifer
Sander-Bowen and Lance Bowen,
David Bass, Michael and Edit Bass.

Southfield, died Feb. 21. Mrs. Serlin
