SUSAN SILVER, 79, of Southfield,
died Feb. 22.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Alan and Susan Sil-
ver of Huntington Woods, David
and Donna Silver of West Bloom-
field; daughter, Barbara Silver of
Southfield; sisters and brother-in-
law, May and Ben Mack of Hunting-
ton Woods, Rose Stone of Royal
Oak; grandchildren, Felicia, Jennifer,
Kari and Shawn Silver. She was the
beloved wife of the late Ben Silver;
sister of the late Albert Boodin.
Services were held at Machpelah
Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale fol-
lowed by interment in the cemetery.

JOSEPH M. SISLER, 91, of Hunt-
ington Woods, died Feb. 17. Mr.
Sisler was the owner of Sisler Jewel-
ers in Ferndale. He was a past master
of Perfection Lodge F & AM, B'nai
B'rith and the Crescent Shrine Club.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley
Sisler; son and daughter-in-law,
Richard and Sharon Sisler of Farm-
ington Hills; grandchildren, Tammy
and Steve Dines, Scott Sisler; great-
granddaughters, Samantha and Bri-
anna Dines. He was the loving father
of the late Marilyn Sisler.

JOSEPH B. SLATKIN, 89, of
Franklin, died Feb. 21. Mr. Slatkin
was the president of Dexter Chevro-
let, Harry Slatkin Builders and Atlas
Auto Leasing. He was a member of
Congregation Shaarey Zedek and
Temple Beth El. He was also a mem-
ber of the Detroit Auto Dealers
Association, board member of Pro-
ject Hope and a member of the
Franklin Hills Country Club.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey
Slatkin of Metamora; daughter-in-
law, Leslie Slatkin; grandchildren,
William and Benton Slatkin; sister
and brother-in-law, Margarette and
Lester Satovsky. He was the beloved
husband of the late Edith Slatkin;
the loving father of the late Dennis
Slatkin; the dear brother of the late
Milton Slatkin, the late Adolph
Slatkin and the late Esther Snyder.

Martha Taylor of Southfield, Elsie
Epstein of Franklin; sister-in-law,

The obituary for Paul Goldberg
(Feb. 13) should have indicated
that he was the loving father of the
late Ira Goldberg.
