ANNA KOVALSKY, 90, of South-

field, died Feb. 23.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Al and Marcia
Kovalsky of Rancho Palos Verdes,
Calif; daughter and son-in-law,
Gertrude and David Dwoskin of
Southfield; grandchildren, Robert
Kovalsky and Sharon Weintraub,
Bruce and Jo-Lynn Kovalsky, Martin
and Myriam Kovalsky, Beth Dwoskin
and Dr. Robert Blumenthal, Susan
Green and Jim Marks; great-grand-
children, Sara Kovalsky, Jenna and
Shane Kovalsky, Noah, Judith and
Sophia Blumenthal, Gabe and Sarah
Green and Joshua Marks. She was the
beloved wife of the late Edward
Kovalsky; the loving grandmother of
the late Nancy Dwoskin.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by the Ira Kaufman Chapel.

RONALD LEFTEROFF, 54, of Oak

Park, died Feb. 21.
He is survived by his wife, Mau-
reen Lefteroff; daughter, Rebecca
Lefteroff of Oak Park; brother and
sister-in-law, Christopher and Geri
Lefteroff of Taylor; sister, Patricia
Houghton of San Jose, Calif. He was
the beloved son-in-law of the late
Harry and Ethel Katz.
Services were held at the Clover
Hill Park Cemetery Chapel followed
by interment in the cemetery. Contri-
butions may be made to the Ameri-
can Heart Association, 16310 W. 12
Mile, Southfield, MI 48076 or to a
charity of one's choice. Arrangements
by Dorfman Funeral Direction.

BARBARA COHEN MELLEN, 83,

of Huntington Woods, died Feb. 23.
Mrs. Mellen was a dental hygienist.
She was a Pink Lady at Sinai Hospi-
tal, a member of JARC, a member of
Temple Israel Sisterhood, Women's
American ORT and Hadassah. She
was also a member of Brandeis Uni-
versity National Women's Commit-
tee, Allied Jewish Campaign, Federa-
tion, the National Council of Jewish
Women and the Women's Guild.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, I. William and Recia
Cohen of Huntington Woods;
daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and
Jerry Klein of Cincinnati; grandchil-
dren, Adam and Lauren Cohen,
Joshua and Sandra Cohen, Melanie

Hahn, Barbara Hahn; great-grand-
children, Aaron Cohen, Alana
Cohen; sister, Peggy Simon of South-
field. She also is survived by Dr.
Hyman S. Mellen's family: Diane and
Dr. Melvin Rubenfire, Dr. John and
Barbara Mellen, Mark and Shelly
Rubenfire, Karen and Danny
Sherbin, Zachary Mellen, Jason,
Adam and Brett Rubenfire, Emily
and Jessica Sherbin. She was the
beloved wife of the late Abraham
Cohen and the late Dr. Hyman S.
Mellen.
Interment at Beth El Memorial

STACEY MILGRIM, 40, former

Detroiter of Nantucket, Mass., died
Feb. 16. She was an artist. She gradu-
ated from Bard College and did grad-
uate studies at Cal Arts.
She is survived by her son, Fred;
father, Paul Milgrim, mother and
stepfather, Rita and Sam Robert; sib-
lings, Victoria and Richard.

tucket Cottage Hospital.

IOSIF MILMAN, 87, of Ann Arbor,

died Feb. 22.
He is survived by his son, Efraim
Milman of Ann Arbor; sister, Bat
Sheva Vishkauson; grandson, Michael
Milman. Mr. Milman was the
beloved husband of the late Betya
Milman.

interment were held at Arborcrest
Cemetery in Ann Arbor. Arrange-

MICHAEL IRA OWEN, 48, of

Farmington Hills, died Feb. 15. Mr.
Owen was a florist and mortgage bro-
ker.
He is survived by his wife, Janice
Owen, son, Matthew Owen, daugh-
ter, Erica Owen; mother and stepfa-
ther, Loraine and Martin Meyer;
brother and sister-in-law, Howard
and Linda Owen of West Bloomfield;
sister and brother-in-law, Roberta
and Gordon McKenna of Farmington
Hills; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-
law, Sylvia and Meyer Pomerantz,
Anita and Robert Naftaly and Harvey
Katz. He was the loving son of the
late Marvin Owen.
