Southfield, died Jan. 18.
Mrs. Dickman is survived by her
daughters and son-in-law, Leah and
Dr. Daniel Rosenbaum of Southfield,
Marcia Green of Oak Park; grand-
children, Joshua and Rachel Green,
Rebecca and Chelsea Rosenbaum;
sister, Enid Pollack of New York. She
was the beloved wife of the late
Norman Dickman and the dear sister
of the late Gene Gillis.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to Jewish Vocational Services,
29699 Southfield Road, Southfield,
MI 48076. Arrangements by the Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

MARTIN A. EISENSTADT of
Farmington Hills, died Feb. 1. Mr.

Eisenstadt was an attorney with
offices in Southfield and Detroit. He
was a 1952 graduate of the
University of Michigan Law School
and had a bachelor's degree in histo-
ry and a master's degree in political
science. He was a member of the
Detroit and American Bar
Association, B'nai B'rith and
Perfection .Lodge.

Mr. Eisenstadt is survived by his
wife, Paula Eisenstadt; daughters and
sons-in-law, Eva Eisenstadt Schreier
and Joshua Schreier of New York,
Anita Eisenstadt and Dick Stanke of
Washington, D.C.; grandchildren,
Max and Simon Schreier, Madeline
and Natalya Stanke; mother, Sarah
Eisenstadt of West Bloomfield; sister
and brother-in-law, Esther and Harry
Dines of West Bloomfield.
Interment at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park. Contributions may
be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by the Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

HESHMAT DAVOUD ESFAHNI,

84, of West Bloomfield, died Feb. 1.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Ebrahim and Zarrin
Fayazi of West Bloomfield; four
grandchildren; 19 great-grandchil-
dren.
Services and interment were held
at Har Hamenuchot Cemetery in
Israel. Arrangements by Hebrew
Memorial Chapel.

DR. I. DONALD FAGIN, 83, of

Southfield, died Jan. 30. He received

bachelor of science and doctor of
medicine degrees from New York
University School of Medicine. He
interned at Cedars of Sinai in Los
Angeles in 1939. From 1940-46, Dr.
Fagin served as a commissioned offi-
cer in the United States Coast
Guard. Dr. Fagin was the medical
director at Health Institute in
Detroit from 1946-1948. He was
certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine and certified in
cardiology and was in private prac-
tice in internal medicine and cardiol-
ogy for many years. He served as
clinical associate professor of medi-
cine at Wayne State University
School of Medicine, chairman of the
department of medicine and director
of internal medicine, residency train-
ing program, chief of the section of
cardiovascular diseases and director
of the cardiology fellowship training
program at Mt. Carmel Mercy
Hospital. Dr. Fagin received the
Laureate Award in honor of his loy-
alty and long-standing membership
in the American College of
Physicians.
He is survived by his wife of 55
years, Rose (Ronnie); daughters and
sons-in-law, Roberta Fagin of Menlo
Park, Calif., Joan Fagin and Edmund
Frost of West Bloomfield, Lorie and
Hank Weisinger of Westport, Conn.;
sister, Norma Keller of Floral Park,
N.Y.; grandchildren, Derek Meisner,
Randall Meisner, Briana Weisinger,
Daniel Weisinger, Jennifer Frost,
Angela Frost. Dr. Fagin was the
brother of the late David Fagin.
A private burial was held in New
York. Contributions may be made to
the American Heart Association,
16310 W. 12 Mile, Southfield, MI
48076, or to a charity cf one's
choice. Arrangements by Dorfman
Funeral Direction.
