41 MOLLIE WEINER BAGDADE, 89,
of Ann Arbor, died Nov. 23. She
worked as a secretary at General
Motors for eight years, at Albert
Kahn Architects for eight years, was
assistant secretary of the Olympic
Speed Skating Committee from
1947-1976 and assistant secretary of
the Amateur Skating Union of the
* United States from 1947-1951. Mrs.
Bagdade was a charter member of
Temple Israel and a former vice presi
dent of its sisterhood.
She is survived by her husband,
Benjamin Bagdade; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Dr. John and Harriett
Bagdade of Eugene, Ore.; daughters
and sons-in-law, June and Dr.
Richard Swartz of Ann Arbor, Alice
and Walter Winget of Peoria, Ill.; sis-
ters, Tillie Schlager of Bloomfield
Hills, Lottie Kessler of Pallatine, Ill.;
grandchildren, Jason, Suzanne, Olivia
and Philip Bagdade, Vaughn and
Samuel Swartz, Julie Feldman, Vicki
(Chuck) Lantz. She was the beloved
mother of the late Walter Bagdade.
Services were held at Machpelah
, Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale fol-

NATHAN BAUMHAFT, 89, of
North Miami Beach, Fla., formerly of
Detroit, died Nov. 22.
He is survived by his wife, Eva
Baumhaft; son and daughter-in-law,
Irwin and Ann Baumhaft of
Pompano Beach, Fla.; daughters and
son-in-law, Judith Guz of Southfield,
Marlene and Philip Ozrovitz of
Southfield; brother, Robert Baumhaft
of West Bloomfield; sister, Paula
Gutov of Southfield; grandchildren,
Dr. Brian and Liz Guz, Deborah and
John Reitman, Dr. Evan and Karen
Guz, Aaron Ozrovitz, Dr. Steven and
Sylvia Ozrovitz, Kevin Ozrovitz;
eight great-grandchildren. Mr.
Baumhaft was the beloved husband
lof the late Esther Baumhaft.

ALBERT BELL, 92, of Southfield,
died Nov. 18.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma

Downers Grove, Ill.; sister, Mildred
Balakofsky of Downsview, Ontario,
Canada; grandchildren, Carol Bell,

John and Jenny Bell; great-grandchil-
dren, Adam, Sarah, Ryan, Brigette,
Joshua.
Mr. Bell was the beloved husband
of the late Helen Bell.

JULIUS BERKOWITZ, 85, of Boca
Raton, Fla. and Southfield died Nov.
17. Mr. Berkowitz was the owner of
Michigan Bag and Barrel.
He is survived by his son and

Minnie Berkowitz of Miami Beach,
Fla.; seven grandchildren; brOther,
Alfred Berkowitz and sister, Bertha
Levine of Bloomfield Hills.

Bloomfield, died Nov. 20.
