She worked as a secretary at General Motors for eight years, at Albert Kahn Architects for eight years, was assistant secretary of the Olympic Speed Skating Committee from 1947-1976 and assistant secretary of the Amateur Skating Union of the * United States from 1947-1951. Mrs. Bagdade was a charter member of Temple Israel and a former vice presi dent of its sisterhood. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Bagdade; son and daugh- ter-in-law, Dr. John and Harriett Bagdade of Eugene, Ore.; daughters and sons-in-law, June and Dr. Richard Swartz of Ann Arbor, Alice and Walter Winget of Peoria, Ill.; sis- ters, Tillie Schlager of Bloomfield Hills, Lottie Kessler of Pallatine, Ill.; grandchildren, Jason, Suzanne, Olivia and Philip Bagdade, Vaughn and Samuel Swartz, Julie Feldman, Vicki (Chuck) Lantz. She was the beloved mother of the late Walter Bagdade. Services were held at Machpelah , Cemetery Chapel in Ferndale fol- 6 lowed by interment in the cemetery.
