Sept. 27. She was a co-honoree of the
JNF Negev Dinner in Windsor and a
life member of Hadassah WIZO and
Congregation Shaar Hashomayim
Sisterhood.
She is survived by her loving hus-
band, Mendel; sons and daughter-in-
law, Sidney and Sandra of Edmonton;
grandchildren, Joyce of Vancouver,
Chaim of Edmonton and Sharma of
Mississauga; brothers, Joseph Farkas of
Miami Beach and Menyhat Farkas of
New York City.

ZELDA KAY, 85, of Southfield, died

Oct. 13. Mrs. Kay was a secretary for
National Coal and Oil. She was a
longtime officer and a past president
of Northwest Child Rescue, Eastern
Star, volunteer at McDonald Tower
and honored by the city of Southfield
with Zelda Kay Day for her volunteer
work.
Mrs. Kay is survived by her son,
Richard Kay of Aliso Viejo, Calif;
daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and
William'Bronstein of Naples, Fla.,
Judy and Barry Tigay of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Shelly and
Rick Carr, Gregory and Pam Haller,
