DOROTHY EISENMAN, 93, of
North Miami Beach, Fla., died Oct.
10. Mrs. Eisenman was born in Utica,
-N.Y., and lived in Detroit for six
years. She was a member of Sisterhood
of Ladies of the Yeshiva Beth Yehudah,
Jewish National Fund, Hadassah and
_Aesculapians.
She is survived by her sons and
'daughters-in-law, Dr. Arnold and
Beatrice Eisenman of Oak Park, Dr.
Harold and Jerri Eisenman of Verona,
N.J.; daughter and sons-in-law,
riaosalyn and Eddie Horwitz of
Lauderhill, Fla.; nine grandchildren;
29 great-grandchildren. Mrs.
Eisenman was the beloved wife of the
Irving Eisenman.

RABBI ERWIN HALPERN, former-

ly of Grand Rapids, of Waco, Texas,
died July 5. He grew up in Houston,
Texas, graduated as a rabbi from Yavne
Hebrew Theological Seminary in 1955
and began his career as a rabbi in
Punxsutawney, Pa. He later served a
congregation in Grand Rapids. Most -
recently, he was president of the Waco
Conference of Christians and Jews
and secretary of the Waco Ministerial
Alliance.
He is survived by his wife of 29
years, Norma Halpern; children,
Sheldon Halpern and Shylla Halpern,
both of Los Angeles, Mark and Sari
Halpern of Boynton Beach, Fla.,
