ZOA President
To Address Forum

Morton A. Klein, national presi-
dent of the Zionist Organization
of America (ZOA), will address a
ZOA-sponsored luncheon forum
noon Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Tem-
ple Beth El.
An economist by profession,
Klein has served in the Nixon,
Ford and Carter administrations.
He is also a consultant to UCLA
School of Public Health and the
Linus Pauling Institute of Science
and Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif.
A leading pro-Israel activist,
Mr. Mein has led a series of suc-
cessful efforts in Washington in
support of Israel. He initiated the
creation of the peace accord mon-
itoring groups in the U.S. Senate
and House of Representatives and
helped facilitate the adoption of
the Specter-Shelby Amendment
designed to pressure the PLO to
adhere to the Oslo accords.
