BORAH SHNAIDER, 75, for-
mer Detroiter of Harrisonberg,
Va., died June 10. Mr. Shainder
received a master's degree in
speech therapy from Wayne
State University and a doctorate
from Case Western Reserve
University. He served in the
U.S. Army in World War II, di-
rected a speech and hearing
clinic in Cincinnati and was em-
ployed by the Development Cor-
poration for Israel (Israel Bonds)
for 32 years, the last 25 as direc-
tor of the Speakers Bureau.
He was the son of the late
Abraham and Mania Shnaider.
He is survived by his wife, Char-
lotte Ann; sons, David of Con-
cord, Mass., Daniel of Ft. Lee,
N.J.; step-children, Erin and
Eric Milnes of Harrisonberg; sis-
ter, Renah of Oakland, Calif;
two grandchildren.

FREDA TENCER, 82, former

Detroiter of Scottsdale, Ariz.,
died July 2. Mrs. Tencer volun-
teered at Sinai Hospital, accu-
> mulating 2,000 service hours.
She also was involved with de-
signing and making surgical
head coverings for doctors.
Mrs. Tencer was the beloved
wife of the late Sam Tencer; sis-
ter of the late Julius Jay Berlin.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Manny and
Arlene of Canoga Park, Calif.;
daughters and son-in-law, Mar-
lene Savine, Elaine and Dr. Al-
lan Schor of Scottsdale; brothers
and sister-in-law, Stan and
Trudy Berlin of West Bloom-
field, Alvin and Shirley Berlin of
Canoga Park, Larry Berlin of
Northridge, Calif.; sister, Mari-
> on Lakin Kay of Westminister,
Calif.; sisters-in-law, Helen
Berlin of Van Nuys, Calif., Anne
Begel of West Bloomfield; eight
grandchildren; seven great-
grandchildren; interment in
Scottsdale.

SAMUEL WARREN, 87, of
Farmington Hills, died July 9.
He is survived by his wife, Ida;
son and daughter-in-law,
Jerome and Donna of Clarkston;
daughters and sons-in-law, Mar-
ilyn and Alvin Leff of Livonia,
Gloria and David DeSilva of
Piedmont, Calif., Elaine and
Mark Mardirosian of Grosse
Pointe Park; grandchildren,
Julie Leff, Zachary Warren,

SELIVIA 'WEBER, 92, of Farm-
ington Hills, died July 15. Mrs.
Weber was an executive secre-
tary for the Internal Revenue
Service.
She is survived by her nieces
and nephews, Shirley Rollins,
Julian and Lois Shapero, Stan-
ley and Marilyn Dorfman; great-
nieces; great-nephews and
cousins. Interment at Clover
Hill Park Cemetery.

CHARLOITE WOLFE, 88, of
West Bloomfield, died July 15.
She was the beloved wife of the
late Erwin N. Wolfe. She is sur-
vived by her son and daughter-
in-law, Harvey and Linda of
West Bloomfield; daughters and
sons-in-law, Lois and Bert
Loewenstein of Walled Lake, Di-
ane and Nick Stearn of Agoura
Hills, Calif.; brothers and sister-
in-law, Monte and Claire Ser-
ling of Southfield, Seymour Ser-
ling of West Bloomfield; sisters,
Esther Davis of Norfolk, Va.,
Sybil Einstandig of Southfield;
grandchildren, Terri Shapiro,
Lori (Bruce) Fidler, Alan (Leslie)
Loewenstein, Andrew (Michelle)
Wolfe, Tracey (Bill) Vincent,
Martin (Kim) Wolfe, Stacey
