SHELDON TOLL, Detroit at-

torney, whose primary practice
areas are commercial and busi-
ness law, has authored the sec-
ond edition of Pennsylvania
Crimes Code Annotated, which
has been in publication for more
than 20 years. The book has been
referred to in decisions of the
Pennsylvania appellate court as
an "invaluable work." The first
edition was authored by Mr. Toll
while he was serving as a vol-
unteer researcher for the Penn-
sylvania Bar Association in 1972.
The book consists of approxi-
mately 1,000 pages and is pub-
lished by Lawyers Cooperative
Publishing, Rochester, NY. Mr.
Toll is a partner of the Detroit
law firm of Honigman Miller
Schwartz and Cohn.

Six members of the North Amer-
ican Association of Synagogue Ex-
ecutives (NAASE) from Michigan
attended the 48th Annual Inter-
national Convention in Savan-
nah, Ga. In attendance were:

ALYN is Israel's only orthopedic hospital and rehabil-
itation center for physically handicapped children.
ALYN's objective is to rehabilitate the youngsters in its
care so they are equipped with the skills and ability
to function as productive and, where possible, inde-
pendent citizens.

pleted Marine basic training at
Parris Island, S.C. He will at-
tend advance training at Camp
Lejune, N.C.

BRETT LEVIN, a fifth grade

student at Doherty Elementary,
has won the semifinal round of
the McDonald's annual speech
contest titled 'When I Grow Up."
Brett represented the West
Bloomfield School District in the
semi-final round at Walled Lake.
He will now compete in the state
final in Lansing.

Healthy Moms, Happy Babies is
an exercise class for moms with
babies up to one year old. It will
be April 23, from 10-11 a.m.
Baby-sitting is available by reser-
vation at the Applebaum Par-
enting Center.
Kitchen Table is a morning
class for moms and their babies,
birth through 15 months. Ruth
Beresh will lead the class
Wednesday, April 24, at 9:45
a.m. at the Parenting Center in
West Bloomfield. Babysitting is
available by reservation.
Maintaining Your Mentsh
Making Skills will renew and re-
fresh parenting skills developed
in Mentsh Making. Monday,
April 22, from 7:30-9 p.m.
Simi's Shabbat will be Satur-
day, April 20, 11-11:45 a.m. with
a special kiddush following ser-
vices at Shaarey Zedek-Southfield.
Music and Movement is for
morn and babies 3 months and
older. Instructor Lynn Breuer
will begin this class Wednesday,
April 24. Moms and babies 3-9
months will meet from noon-
12:30 p.m.; moms and babies 10
months and older will meet from
11:15-11:45 a.m.
Kids Collage with artist Car-
ol Rock is a workshop set for
April 25, either from 9:30-11 a.m.
or 7-8:30 p.m.
Didi Wainess will lecture on
Starting Kindergarten, Wednes-
day, April 24, from 7:30-9 p.m.
These classes have fees. For
