"Critics Choice Since 1962"

D. Dennison, 27909 Orchard Lake
Rd., Farmington Hills, 553-7000. It is
on a par with many higher-touted restau-
rants whose fish entrees are a main fea-
ture, but still keeps a low key as one of
the area's better seafood houses. The
fresh water-farin' creatures that end up in
bath the Farmington Hills and Livonia lo-
cales bring much tasty goodness.

RESTAURANT

Ginopolis', 27815 Middlebelt Rd.,
Farmington Hills, 851-8222. One of
Metropolitan Detroit's favorite celebrity
restaurants, Ginopolis', owned by broth-
ers Johnny and Peter Ginopolis, carries
on the tradition of excellence which their
father George always insisted upon.
Seafood, authentic Montgomery Inn ribs
and choice selections are Ginopolis' fa-
vorites. A beautiful private room is avail-
able plus off-premise service for all types
of catering.

Marvin's Marvelous Mechani-
cal Museum, 31005 Orchard Lake
Rd., 626-5020. Only the huge clock at
its outside entrance is backwards. Every-
thing else at this good time emporium
spells fun for the entire family. Owner
Marvin Yagoda was crazy like a fox
when he come up with the idea, but it
has become one of very few like it in the
nation, winning awards and appearing
in magazines and the Guiness World
Book of Records. Video games, pinball
machines, antique games, unique
posters, etc. include an old-time photo
booth. The party favorite also has 24 ta-
bles for lunch snacks.
