Fruit Sale

The Youth Department of Con-
gregation Beth Achim will have
a fruit sale as a fund-raiser, sell-
ing oranges and grapefruit.
The sale will run through

Beth El Seniors
November Plans

November programs for Temple
Beth El seniors will range from
the adventurous to the thought-
ful. On Sunday, Nov. 19, Dr. Hen-
ry and Sue Kaine will entertain
the Middle Years Group with a
narrative slide presentation on
their Southern African safari. The
1 p.m. program is open to the com-
munity without charge and reser-
vations are not necessary.The
program will be preceded by cake
and coffee at 12:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, Nov. 21, Goldie
Kalib, a Holocaust survivor and
the author of The Last Selection:
A Child's Journey Through the
Holocaust, will speak at a lun-
cheon hosted by the Beth Elders,
at noon. Reservations are neces-
sary; there is a charge. To re-
serve, prior to Nov. 17, call
