8, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at
Washtenaw Community Col-
lege's Morris Lawrence Building,
East Huron River Drive, Ann Ar-
bor.
Hundreds of new and used
pieces of computer equipment
and software items will be avail-
able. Donated used equipment
also will be up for sale.
The sale is a benefit for the
Jewish Community Center of
Washtenaw county three times
a year. Admission is $4. Re-
freshments will be sold.

Stepping Stones
Sets Open House
Jewish Experiences for Fami-
lies will hold an open house for
Stepping Stones to a Jewish Me,
a community program for chil-
dren of unaffiliated interfaith
families, on Sunday, Sept. 10,
at 1 p.m. at Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue.
The Stepping Stones program
is a two-year educational expe-
rience open to children of inter-
faith families ages 5-16. It
provides the children with an
opportunity to learn about their
Jewish heritage and customs
and introduces them to the
world of the Jewish communi-
ty. Parents are also encouraged
to participate in scheduled fam-
ily programs.
Stepping Stones to a Jewish
/-Me begins Sunday, Oct. 15, at
Adat Shalom Synagogue, from
1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuition is free;
however, there is a materials
fee. Those who are interested in
enrolling or those who have
questions about the program are
invited to attend the open

whirlyball.
