Support Groups

Keshet, an organization for fam-
ilies of children (of any age) with
special needs, announces a new
program for parents who need ex-
tra support during times of cri-
sis.
Recognizing that these kinds
of situations can cause tremen-
dous stress, a trained parent rep-
resentative from Keshet will
made telephone contact with
these families and then visit
them either at home or in the
hospital. In addition to providing
needed support, these parent rep-
resentatives can refer families to
appropriate community resources
when necessary.
Keshet is a non-profit organi-
zation which provides informa-
tion, support and advocacy
services for families who have
children of any age with disabil-
ities of any kind. For information,
contact the Keshet office, (810)
258-9575.
