Presentation
On Oct. 17th at 7:30 p.m., B'nai
B'rith Albert Einstein Lodge and
M. C. Zeiger Lodge, in coopera-
tion with BBYO, will host a first-
hand report on the March of the
Living by the nine local Jewish
BBYO teens who participated on
this special mission. The goal of
this two-week program is to cre-
ate in our youth new "witnesses"
to the atrocities of the Holocaust
as the generation of survivors
slowly pass into history. This
event will be held at the
Maple/Drake JCC.
The program is free, and re-
freshments will follow the pro-
gram. Seating is limited; respond

Muslim Arrested
For Attack
New York (JTA) — An Algerian
Muslim fundamentalist arrested
in Morocco for the killing of Span-
ish tourists has confessed he had
been instructed to attack a syn-
agogue in Casablanca, according
to a report by the Moroccan news
agency MAP.
Hamel Marzouk said he de-
cided not to attack the synagogue
because it was so heavily guard-
ed, and instead shot up tombs in
a Jewish cemetery, according to
the report, which was monitored
by the European Jewish Con-
gress.
No day or time of the cemetery
attack was reported.
Elan Steinberg, director of the
World Jewish Congress said he
had no other confirmation of such
an incident.
He said the arrest appears to
be tied to the Islamic fundamen-
talist movement.
Mr. Marzouk had been arrest-
ed inconnection with the Aug. 24
attack on the atlas Hotel in Mar-
rakech, Morocco.
