Alison Beth Opper and Brandon
Edward Auster were married re-
cently at Baypointe Golf Club.
Rabbis Ernst Conrad of Temple
Kol Ami and Rabbi Amy Brodsky
and Cantor Norman Rose of
Temple Emanu-El officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Loren Opper of
West Bloomfield. The groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Auster of Houston, Texas, for-
merly of West Bloomfield.
Amy Opper, sister of the bride,
was the maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Cheryl Auster, sister
of the groom; Tobi Hollander;
Bridgit Smith. The best man was

the groom's brother, Martin
Auster. Ushers were John Ruby,
Mandar Raut and Scott Segel.
Also participating in the cere-
mony were Esther Auster, grand-
mother of the groom, and Lincoln
Opper, grandfather of the bride.
Ashley Oshinsky was the flower
girl.
Alison is a first-year medical
student at the University of Illi-
nois. Brandon is an actuarial con-
sultant at Hewitt Associates in
Lincolnshire, Ill.
Following a honeymoon in Be-
lize, the couple will reside in
Chicago.

Rebecca Broder and Jim Egolf
were married recently at Temple
Israel. Rabbis Harold Loss, Josh
Bennett, friend of the groom, and
Marc Kline from Cincinnati,
Ohio, officiated. Also officiating
was Cantor Harold Orbach. Gail
Broder, sister of the bride, sang
a portion of the wedding music.
Rebecca is the daughter of Eu-
gene and Doreen Broder of Hunt-
ington Woods. Jim is the son of
Janice Egolf of Monroeville, Ala.
and James and Delores Egolf of
Okeechobee, Fla.
Jennifer Craddock was maid
of honor. Bridesmaids were Gail
Broder, sister of the bride from
St. Louis; Jennifer Broder from
Longmeadow, Mass., and Sharon
Broder from Boston, cousins of
the bride.
The best man was Cary Chap-
pell from Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Groomsmen were Phil Broder,

brother of the bride from Spring
Grove., Ill.; Rabbi Matthew Fried-
man from Hot Springs, Ark.; and
Larry Krauser from Woodland
Hills, Calif.
Also participating in the cer-
emony were Ben and Pearl Rei-
ner, grandparents of the bride,
from Margate, Fla.; Helen Todd,
grandmother of the groom, from
Monroeville, Ala.; Josh and liana
Kline, ring bearer and flower girl,
from Cincinnati; and chuppah
carriers and holders, Larry Weis-
man and Martin Sorkowitz,
cousins of the bride; Dr. Martin
Broder, uncle of the bride from
Longmeadow; and Linda Alessi,
aunt of the bride, from Hyde
Park, Mass.
The couple are residing in
Cincinnati, where the groom will
be ordained at Hebrew Union
College-Jewish Institute of Reli-
gion in Juhne.
