The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Auster of Houston, Texas, for- merly of West Bloomfield. Amy Opper, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Brides- maids were Cheryl Auster, sister of the groom; Tobi Hollander; Bridgit Smith. The best man was the groom's brother, Martin Auster. Ushers were John Ruby, Mandar Raut and Scott Segel. Also participating in the cere- mony were Esther Auster, grand- mother of the groom, and Lincoln Opper, grandfather of the bride. Ashley Oshinsky was the flower girl. Alison is a first-year medical student at the University of Illi- nois. Brandon is an actuarial con- sultant at Hewitt Associates in Lincolnshire, Ill.
