Granitz-Fogel

DeAnna Lynn Fogel and Steven
Avrim Granitz were recently
married at Temple Israel. Rabbi
Harold Loss and Cantor Harold
Orbach officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Fogel of
West Bloomfield. The groom is
the son of Mr. Harold Granitz of
Oak Park and the late Marcia
Granitz.
Lisa Berkower was the maid
of honor. The bridesmaids were
Andrea Fogel, sister of the bride;
Stacey Cohen, Karen Gordon,
Jen Gilson, Stephanie Broner

and Amy Opper.
The best man was Ben Kon-
stantin. The groomsmen were
Barry Fogel, brother of the bride;
Jon Gloss, David Silverman,
Manuel Chavez and Alan Nus-
baum. Joshua Mendelson was
the ring bearer.
Also participating in the wed-
ding were Mr. and Mrs. Hyman
Goodman, grandparents of the
bride, and Helen Greenberg,
grandmother of the groom.
Following a honeymoon in
Bermuda, the couple will reside
in Southfield.

Gitlin-Meltzer

Dr. Amy J. Meltzer and Dr. Scott
D. Gitlin were recently married
at Beach Point Country Club
in Mamaroneck, N.Y. Rabbi
Richard Jacobs of Westchester
Reform Temple officiated at the
candlelit ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Sally and Jay J. Meltzer of Scars-
dale, N.Y. The groom is the son
of Janice Gitlin of West Bloom-
field and the late Arlen Gitlin.
Dr. Sharon Seibel was the
bride's matron of honor. Sarah
Himmelfarb was the bridesmaid
and Charlotte Himmelfarb was
the flower girl. Dr. Jeffrey Gitlin

and Blake Gitlin, the groom's
brothers, were the best men. Dr.
Steven Harwood and Mark
Meltzer, the bride's brother, were
the groomsmen. Elaine Lifton,
the groom's grandmother, also
participated in the ceremony.
The bride is a pediatrician in
private practice. The groom is a
hematologist/oncologist at the
University of Michigan Medical
Center.
Following the wedding, the
couple enjoyed a honeymoon in
Hawaii. They now reside in Ann
Arbor.
