is for you!

A 25 session educational experience open to children 5-16
years old of interfaith families whose parents desire to give them
an opportunity to learn more about their Jewish heritage.

Weddings

The STEPPING STONES program starts September 25, at
Temple Israel, 5725 Walnut Lake, W. Bloomfield, MI 48322 from
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. TUITION IS FREE.

the Conservative and Reform Rabbis of Metropolitan Detroit with the support of
the Max Fisher Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit and
administered by the Agency for Jewish Education.

Rosenthal-Kideckel

Former Toledoan Elana Rosen-
thal of Haifa, Israel, and former
Detroiter Steven Kideckel of
Rehovot, Israel, were recently
married at Temple B'nai Israel
in Toledo. Rabbi Arnold Bien-
stock and the bride's sister, Rabbi
Sandra Rosenthal Berliner, of-
ficiated.
Elana is the daughter of H.
James and Sharon Rosenthal of
Toledo. Steven is the son of Mary
Kideckel of Southfield and the
late William Kideckel.
Chuppah holders included the
bride's brother, Richard Rosen-
thal; the bride's sister and broth-

er-in-law, Amy and Adam
Moskow; the bride's brother-
in-law, Roy Berliner; and the
groom's brother and sister-in-law,
Alan and Andrea Kideckel. The
groom was escorted by his moth-
er and brother, Burton Kideckel.
The bride was escorted by her
parents. The bride's nephew,
Benjamin Berliner, and the
groom's niece, Elizabeth Kideck-
el, also participated in the cere-
mony.
After a San Francisco and Las
Vegas honeymoon, the couple will
reside in Rehovot.

Heidi Mittelman and Jordan Jay
Brodsky were recently married
at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield
Hills. Officiating were Rabbi
Richard Hertz, Cantor Harold
Orbach, and Rabbi Michael
Weinberg of Temple Beth Israel
in Skokie, Ill.
The bride is the daughter of Gil
and Norma Kleiff and Marvin
and Harriet Mittelman of West
Bloomfield. The groom is the son
of Harvey and Trudy Brodsky of
Evanston, Ill.
The matron of honor was Lori
Feldman. Bridesmaids were
Aimee Mittelman, the bride's sis-
ter-in-law; Rachel Brodsky, the

groom's sister; Lisa Cherniak; Re-
nee Erlich; Michelle Hyman;
Amy Kahn; Stefanie Ocker; and
Marla Weiss.
Harry Brodsky, brother of the
groom, was best man. Grooms-
men were Scott Mittelman,
brother of the bride; Josh Good-
man; David Gurian; Joshua
Kahn; and Dave Kushner. Ush-
ers were the groom's cousins,
Louis Isbitz, Paul Brodsky and
H. L. Greenberg.
The couple spent their honey-
moon on the Greek Islands and
are now planning to reside in
Chicago.
