Rabbi Daniel Nevins, who was
ordained last month at the Jew-
ish Theological Seminary, will
join Adat Shalom Synagogue as
assistant rabbi on Aug. 1.
Concluding five years as a rab-
binical student, Rabbi Nevins, to-
gether with his wife, Lynn, will
move to Farmington Hills from
New York City.
A native of New Jersey, the
new assistant rabbi graduated

university in 1989.

records of the rabbis, synagogues
and organization of the Conser-
vative Movement as well as the
promotion of research on the his-
tory and the contemporary state
of Conservative Judaism.
