Set Calendar
The first of a four-part work-
shop will discuss "Don't Believe
Everything You Hear About Ag-
ing" Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris Jewish
Community Center.
Temple Israel's Rabbi Loss
will lead a discussion on Ju-
daism 1 p.m. Dec. 7.
A Sinai Hospital profes-
sional will share infonnation
on "Body Mechanics: Making
Life Easier" 1 p.m .Dec. 9.
Vivian Stollman, director,
and Sonny Lipenholtz, ac-
companist of the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Building
choir, will lead a Chanukah
sing-along 1 p.m. Dec. 14.

Senior Programs
Seek Volunteers
The Retired and Senior Volun-
teer Program (RSVP) seeks
adults 55 and older to partici-
pate in the STAR PATROL (Se-
niors Teaching And Reaching)
Program in the Southfield
Schools. Volunteers are asked
to commit 2-4 hours per week
when school is in session.
A volunteer is matched
with one teacher/class for the
entire school year. Special
emphasis is on tutoring in
reading and math. Benefits
include liability insurance,
mileage reimbursement and
the chance to make a differ-
ence in a young person's life!

The Enhanced Generation of
Congregation Beth Shalom will
have a program, "Let Us Be
Freilich — A Prelude to
Chanukah," 10 a.m. Dec. 8 at
the synagogue. Refreshments

Phyllis Young will lead a dis-
cussion at 11 a.m. Cantor
